Argyle Literacy & Mentoring Partnership
In 2016, MCAC began a partnership with Argyle Middle School to address the reading “achievement gap” affecting 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade girls in Montgomery County. Through literature and character development activities, we aim to foster a love of reading, to inspire creative writing and to strengthen general life skills. This year’s program features 21 sessions where girls will work on activities like creating vision boards, journaling, and embracing healthy eating habits.
