As part of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. National Arts and Letters Commission Red Carpet Series MCAC sponsored a screening of the new major motion picture, Southside With You. The John Legend production chronicles the summer of 1989 when the future President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady, Michelle, on an epic first date across Chicago’s Southside.
MCAC secured an theater at the AMC Loews Rio Cinemas 18 in Gaitherburg for friends and family. Guests also enjoyed special ticket pricing as part of the event.
